MANCHESTER — Coffee-lovers, take note: you might have to start bringing your brew from home or making another stop on your morning commute. The Wawa at the intersection of Routes 70 and 539 will soon be closing for remodeling.
On Oct. 22, the Wawa, located on Route 70 in Manchester, will be closed for improvements. It is expected to reopen on Nov. 22.
According to the company, several Wawa stores have had or will be undergoing remodeling projects in order to update its store designs and offerings. Beginning in 2018, the renovations include 50 stores, each project costing the company about $1 million.
