LAKEHURST – The Parent Alliance Meeting and preschool orientation scheduled for Aug. 29 are cancelled. They will be rescheduled at a later date, Lakehurst school officials said.
The elementary school is currently closed due to mold problems, which Superintendent Loren Fuhring said is being addressed by school officials and TTI Environmentalists.
“The administration met with TTI Environmentalists this morning to determine necessary steps. TTI professionals will conduct testing in order to characterize the building and create an action plan,” Furhing said.
The board of education office is open.
