LAKEHURST – The Lakehurst Board of Education will hold a special meeting 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at the Lakehurst Community Center, 207 Center St.
The elementary school is currently closed due to mold problems, which Superintendent Loren Fuhring said is being addressed by school officials and TTI Environmentalists.
“The administration met with TTI Environmentalists this morning to determine necessary steps. TTI professionals will conduct testing in order to characterize the building and create an action plan,” Furhing said.
The board of education office is open.
