MANCHESTER – Several students were honored for their dedication to their community and their academics.

Mayor Ken Palmer, a member and past president of the Manchester Township Educational Foundation (MTEF), and with the support of local businesses and organizations, presented $31,000 in scholarship awards to 17 Manchester graduates.

The mayor was able to present the following students with awards:

  • Joy Sodon: The Ocean County Mayors’ Association and the Mayor Hornidge Memorial Scholarships
  • Bailey Griffin: The Mayor David Siddons Memorial Scholarship
  • Sabrina Marie Campana: The Mayor’s Community Service Award
  • Bailey Griffin: The Mayor’s Future Municipal Leader Award
  • Michael Hudak (Manchester Township Middle School): The Mayor’s Middle School Community Service Award
