MANCHESTER – The systematic flushing of fire hydrants within the community are being scheduled for next month and November according to the Township’s Department of Utilities Eastern and Western Service Area.
The agency will be systematically flushing the hydrants and each community will be notified when flushing in their area begins.
Flushing will occur both day and night but the hours will vary. During this time, you may experience a difference in pressure and discoloration according to the department.
Residents experiencing this are advised to run their cold water tap only until it runs clear.
