MANCHESTER – A series of tips helped authorities capture the four teens seen on tape, attempting to break into a building on the Heritage Minerals property.
Manchester Township Police originally released the surveillance footage on social media following the October 17th incident. The property manager had seen the incident as it was happening and called police. The suspects made their way inside the building, causing over a thousand dollars in damage before fleeing the scene.
Tips started pouring in through telephone calls, e-mails and private messages on social media. Patrolman Michael O’Hara and members of the Manchester Township Police Investigations Bureau went to work on the probe.
Lieutenant Vincent J. Manco said 20-year-old Jasmine Rodriguez of Manchester and three male juveniles from Toms River were arrested. The others were not identified by the authorities.
Rodriguez and one of the teens was charged with criminal trespass. The other two were charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
Manchester Police thank the public for helping them with the probe.
