JACKSON – Two individuals are seriously injured after their vehicle went off the road and struck a tree, authorities said.
State police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to a motor vehicle crash at 1:21 p.m. on April 15 that occurred at mile-marker 22.2 on Interstate-195 eastbound at in Jackson Township.
Trooper Alejandro Goez told Jersey Shore Online that preliminary information indicates that the vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.
When first responders arrived at the scene, the vehicle was found in the woods with two individuals entrapped.
The incident is under investigation.
