
JACKSON – Police are looking for a suspect involved in a robbery and assault.
Police responded to a Delaware Trail residence on July 11 at around 1 a.m. They met a female victim who had multiple facial injuries.
The victim said that a man forced his way into the residence by kicking in a door and assaulting her. He stole a purse and left the scene. She was treated at a local hospital.
The suspect, who knows the victim, is Rozel Foster, 27. The immediate area was searched after the incident but he was not located.
Police said that he may be staying at addresses on Monmouth Road in Freehold Township or on Princeton Avenue in Pemberton. If anyone has information on Foster’s whereabouts, please contact the Jackson Police Department at 732-928-1111 or through the department’s Stop It app.
He is charged with burglary, robbery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief and has been entered as a New Jersey Wanted Person.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
