JACKSON – A 51-year-old man died after a fatal two-car accident on Toms River Road near the Ocean County Vo-Tech School.
On August 12, police said that a 51-year-old man was driving southbound when he swerved abruptly for unknown reasons and went into the oncoming lane of traffic. As a result, he collided head-on with another car driven by a 45-year-old man.
The 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police also found a dog, that was in the car, to be seriously injured. The 45-year-old man was treated for minor injuries.
