JACKSON –The Township’s Economic Advisory Committee is seeking civic-minded individuals with a passion for economic development to submit their letters of interest for consideration to join the board in 2024.
“As our town continues to thrive and evolve, the Economic Advisory Committee can play an important role in shaping the economic landscape. Composed of a diverse group of professionals, the committee can provide valuable insights and recommendations to local government officials on matters pertaining to economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development,” a statement from the EAC noted.
The Committee also stated that “individuals with a background in economics, finance, business or related fields are encouraged to express their interest in becoming part of this dynamic committee.”
“Jackson values diversity and welcomes applicants from all walks of life, as different perspectives contribute to well-rounded and effective decision-making,” the EAC stated.
To submit a letter of interest, applicants should outline their relevant experience, skills, and commitment to enhancing the economic well-being of our community. Submissions can be sent to the Clerk at mmoss@jacksontwpnj.net and it was requested that applicants respond by December 29, 2023.
The release added, “the selection process will be thorough, ensuring that chosen candidates possess the expertise and dedication necessary to drive positive economic outcomes for Jackson.”
