JACKSON – Throughout the month of March, the Jackson Township Police Department will be administering a traffic enforcement program.

The goal of the program is to enforce and educate the driving public while reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions. With traffic volumes increasing in the township, the department believes in the importance of driver education and enforcement.

Officers will be deployed at various locations looking for violations including, but not limited to: primary collision factors involving speed, red light and right-of-way violations. Violators will be cited and/or educated on the safety concerns associated with the violation.

Contact the Jackson Township Traffic Safety Unit for any questions regarding traffic safety.
