JACKSON – Police said they wrapped up an investigation into who was dealing heroin in the township with arrests Tuesday evening.
Detectives assigned to the department’s Special Enforcement Unit pulled over a vehicle on Grand Boulevard and placed the female driver and male passenger under arrest. Police said they recovered two bricks, or approximately 100 bags of heroin, marijuana, paraphernalia and cash in excess of $800.
Demetrius Moses-Lake, 24, of Trenton, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
Emily Gibson, 23, of Trenton, was charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance while operating a motor vehicle.
The 2006 Honda that Gibson was driving was seized for possible forfeiture proceedings.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
