JACKSON – Motorists that travel regularly on Toms River Road should plan an alternate route, according to police.
Toms River Road, or Route 571, has been shut down indefinitely for repairs after a motor vehicle crash left a pole and wires in the roadway.
Police said that traffic will be detoured in both directions on Lakehurst Avenue, so motorists should expect delays.
