JACKSON – A man who was wanted for allegedly kicking in a door and assaulting a woman was found and arrested, police reported.
The suspect, who knows the victim, is Rozel Foster, 27. The victim said that this man forced his way into the residence by kicking in a door and assaulting her. He stole a purse and left the scene.
The attack took place at a Delaware Trail residence on July 11 at around 1 a.m. Police responding to a call met a female victim who had multiple facial injuries. She was treated at a local hospital.
The immediate area was searched after the incident but he was not located. Police asked for the public’s help in locating Foster. He was ultimately found and arrested, police reported.
He is charged with burglary, robbery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
