HOWELL – The Howell community will be joining together on Jan. 7 for a good cause to help support Jake “The Tank” Honig in his battle against cancer.
Join in on “Hoopin’ for Honig,” a basketball fundraiser aimed at raising funds and awareness for Jake’s illness. The fundraiser will be comprised of a three of three basketball tourney where teams of those 12 and older will play against each other. There will be baked goods, refreshments, raffles, apparel, and a 50/50 to help raise money for Jake’s cause. All of the proceeds from this event will go towards Jake’s “War on Cancer.”
Come out to the Howell Middle School North for this family fun event to support a member of our local community. Check in begins at 10 a.m. and the games will begin at 11 a.m. All ages are welcome.
