HOWELL – Although the land they were living in was purchased, and they were ordered to leave four days before Christmas, a handful of homeless people still reside at the temporary camp on Route 9, and can accept donations.
About half a dozen people still remain, according to a source close to the camp. They are located at 5998 Route 9, in a wooded area off the highway.
The remaining residents are accepting clothing and warm winter items for the homeless and poor.
