HOWELL – A 26-year-old Atlantic City man is in police custody following a domestic dispute assault in Howell Township.
Police Chief Andrew Kudrick confirmed the incident took place on Thursday night. The suspect had fled on foot shortly before police arrived at the scene.
According to Kudrick, a perimeter was secured while several officers went looking for him. Howell Police Sergeant Bondarew and K9 Officer Vito apprehended the suspect who was hiding in a yard on West 4th Street.
Chief Kudrick tells Jersey Shore Online the man had several warrants and more details about the incident, including his identity, would be released soon.
