BRICK — A Brick woman was charged with possessing and distributing heroin.
After what police called a lengthy investigation, they executed a search warrant Oct. 25 for a Laurel Brook Drive home where 53-year-old Lisa Sorice resided.
Police seized 1,050 individual doses of heroin with various branding stamps and packaging material. Police also seized $21,675.
Sorice was charged with second-degree possession with the Intent to distribute heroin, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
Another woman, Donna Brown, arrived at the residence while police were there. She was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants.
