BRICK – A Brick Township 15-year-old remains hospitalized after he was pulled from a lagoon on Saturday, according to police.
Sergeant James Kelly tells Jersey Shore Online that the boy was swimming in the lagoon behind his home in the southern section of town and didn’t resurface.
Kelly added “after not resurfacing, he was located by one of the adults present, who pulled him out. CPR began by people there shortly before first responders arrived and took over.”
The victim was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center via ambulance but according to Kelly, there is no word on his condition.
