LAKEWOOD – A man was sent to a local hospital after an accident on Route 88 last night.
The Lakewood Scoop reported that around 9:30 p.m., just west of Clover Street, a pedestrian was involved in an accident, resulting in serious injuries. The road was closed both ways while Lakewood Police’s Traffic Safety Division investigated.
The man was reportedly taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
