BRICK — Surface mold found in a classroom at Brick Township High School prompted the district to close five rooms in that section of the building, school officials said.
The district posted a letter to parents and guardians on its website Monday.
The affected surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and ventilation systems checked. The district has also called Environmental Safety Management Corporation to test air quality.
The likely culprit that caused the growth is the continued high humidity.
