BRICK – Traffic crossed over the new Midstreams Bridge the first time today.
The 111-foot-long single-span bridge was striped this morning and reopened to traffic in the afternoon.
The bridge was widened and its steel construction replaced the original timber work and concrete, which showed signs of deterioration for years. The original bridge was constructed in 1962.
