LAKEWOOD – A Lakewood man has been arrested and charged with distributing and possessing child pornography.
John Jandola, 39, faces one count of second-degree distribution of child pornography and one count of third-degree possession of child pornography.
A search warrant was executed Feb. 22 to 345B Canterbury Court in Lakewood, where Jandola’s personal computer was confiscated. After reviewing his computer, it was found Jandola allegedly possessed and distributed images of children engaged in various sex acts. He was arrested March 1.
Electronic child pornography distribution and possession is monitored by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, U.S. Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Lakewood Police Department.
Jandola is being held at Ocean County Jail.
