LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Fire Department recently participated in Live Fire Training exercises at the Toms River Fire Academy on May 23.
Training involved live fire scenarios and focused on fireground operations such as unified command, personnel control and accountability, forcible entry, basement fires, standpipe operations, fire hose advancement, and search and rescue, among many other aspects.
The Lakewood Fire Department remarked that this vital training will contribute greatly to enhancing the safety of the township and its residents.
