LAKEWOOD – Several dozen people have been displaced after a fire broke out in a three-story residential building Thursday night.
The fire, deemed suspicious by authorities, ripped through the building at 6th Street and Lexington Avenue, The Lakewood Scoop reported.
It took firefighters about five minutes to bring the blaze under control, with most damage limited to the structure’s outside.
Forty-one people in 10 families were displaced, according to NJ.com.
The fire is under investigation.
