BRICK – Township police are investigating an accident that involved a flipped over vehicle on a busy roadway.
Ocean County Scanner News was first to report the accident on Friday night.
Traffic Safety Officer Keith Donnelly tells Jersey Shore Online that a vehicle traveling north on Cedar Bridge Avenue at Brick Boulevard and lost control near the intersection.
Donnelly said “the car struck a curb, a guide wire for a traffic signal, overturned and even struck a tree.”
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital while passengers in the car suffered minor injuries. No word on the driver’s condition.
