BRICK – The township police Street Crimes Unit made several arrests at 116 Brick Boulevard which led from investigations into suspicious drug related activity.
The arrests were made just after 11:30 a.m. on April 9 in the area of a Wawa when detectives observed Shayna Palmieri, 31, Toms River leave her parked vehicle and enter the passenger side of another vehicle with one male occupant, Dandre Tubbs, 33, of Toms River.
The two were observed conducting what appeared to be a drug transaction. A subsequent motor vehicle stop led to the discovery of 200 wax folds of heroin and 10 Xanax pills.
Palmieri was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, and possession of heroin and paraphernalia. She was soon lodged in Ocean County Jail.
Tubbs was charged with distributing heroin, possession of heroin, possession of Xanax, and paraphernalia. He was also lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
Less than an hour later, another SCU detective observed the occupant of a white sedan engaged in a hand-to-hand transaction with the occupants of another vehicle. A vehicle stop was conducted which resulted in the arrest of three people for drug-related crimes.
Steven Weber, 55 of Little Egg Harbor Township was found to be in possession of 210 wax folds of heroin, approximately five grams of crack-cocaine, a large amount of U.S. currency, and a pill bottle containing urine.
Weber was charged with distributing heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession with the intent to distribute crack, possession of heroin, possession of crack, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a device used to defraud the administration of a drug test, and several motor vehicle violations. He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
Alysia Wojceichowski 27, also from Little Egg Harbor was charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack, possession of hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia. She to was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
Another Little Egg Harbor resident, 37-year-old Stephanie Lewicki was charged with possession of heroin and possession of hypodermic syringes. She was released on a summons.
The officers also seized currency and the vehicle according to a report issued by Brick Police Sgt. Jim Kelly.
