BRICK – A father and son were both arrested after police found them in possession of cocaine and heroin.
On September 7, the Brick Street Crimes Unit (SCU) searched the home of Frank and Matthew Russo after they were pulled over by police.
Officers had stopped their vehicle and a K-9 had a positive indication on their car for drugs. As a result, authorities searched their home and discovered cocaine and heroin along with various amounts of packaging material used for distribution.
Frank Russo, 68, of Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute cocaine, intent to distribute heroin, drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon.
Matthew Russo, 39, from Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute cocaine, intent to distribute heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Frank and Matthew were processed at headquarters and lodged at Ocean County Jail.
