BRICK – Six new tennis courts were installed at Forge Pond near the municipal building on Chambers Bridge Road.
The courts opened in May, according to Ed Moroney, Brick’s public information officer. The reconstruction had begun last fall.
The project cost $655,773, he said. It was done by Classic Turf Company, Woodbury, CT. It was funded through the township’s 2015 capital program.
The courts are open for public play unless there are permits issued for the courts and during high school practices and matches.
