BELMAR – A Brick man was arrested and charged in connection with multiple bank robberies in the area.
David Mitchell, 31, was finally caught in Belmar after law enforcement released his information in connection to a robbery at TD Bank on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant Borough April 29.
He then robbed Ocean First Bank in Spring Lake Heights April 30. A panic alarm sounded from that bank Monday afternoon, and it was a Neptune City Police Officer that apprehended Mitchell in Belmar.
Mitchell was charged with two counts of second degree robbery.
