Brick Cops Looking For Suspect Who Grabbed Child

BRICK – Police are looking for information regarding an older man who reportedly grabbed the wrist of a child in the Brick Walmart.

The incident happened at around noon on Aug. 17, police said. Officer Raymond LaPoint was patrolling the Route 88 parking lot when he was told that

The boy’s mother was several feet away from the boy when the incident occurred, police said. An older man reached out to grab the wrist of a 10-year-old boy, who pulled free. The suspect didn’t say anything to the child, and left the area.

The suspect is described as a white older male, with white or gray hair. He was wearing a dark colored baseball cap. He is approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall with medium build.
