BERKELEY — Authorities continue to investigate a fire that broke out in a Holiday City home Monday night, claiming the life of one woman.
The Ocean County Fire Marshal’s office could only confirm the investigation into a fire that erupted at the Castle Harbor Drive home is ongoing.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office could only confirm that the fatality was a 93-year-old woman who was in the house alone when the fire broke.
OCPO Press Officer Brian Huntenburg told Jersey Shore Online the scene was secured overnight and investigators were on the scene again early Tuesday morning. He said his office should be releasing details shortly.
