BEACHWOOD – Direct threats that were made against multiple students and one staff member at Toms River Intermediate School South is currently under investigation, police said.
Once staff was made aware of the threat after normal school hours, they immediately reported it to the Beachwood Police Department.
“The department’s patrol division and investigations unit immediately conducted a thorough investigation which determined that there was no credible threat to those named or the school,” Beachwood Police said.
At this time, police have not released what kind of threat was made and the threat is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. David Bowden at 732-286-6000 ext. 108.
