BERKELEY – Police are investigating a robbery and aggravated assault that occurred on Monday, Sept. 23 at Miller Air Park.
According to police, the 87-year old female victim was hitting golf balls on the fairgrounds at the park when the unknown suspect approached her. He engaged her in a conversation and then assaulted her with a golf club.
The woman suffered a moderate injury to her head and was able to leave and report the incident to the police.
Police provided a composite sketch of the suspect, described as a white male, 50-60 years old, of stocky build.
