BERKELEY – Berkeley Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a 60-year-old white male who is suspected of harassing a young woman jogging near the Barnegat Rail Trail.

The victim told police she was jogging down Eastern Blvd. on July 18 around 11:25 a.m. when she saw a red, two-door older sports car pass her multiple times and look at her while she jogged. She became concerned about the car and called her mother to pick her up.

When the victim’s mother got to the scene, she saw the vehicle pull up behind her daughter. After honking her horn, the suspicious car left the area.

Anyone who has an idea of who this person might be is advised to call the Berkeley Township Police at 732-341-1132 or email [email protected]. Tips can remain anonymous.
