Police Investigate Shots Fired In Beachwood

  BEACHWOOD – Police are currently investigating shots being fired on the night of March 28 near the intersection of Admiral Avenue and Locker Street.

  Around 9:23 p.m., Beachwood Police found several spent shell casings in the roadway as well as a parked car that was hit by a single round.

  According to police, the incident originated in a neighboring town with two cars involved. The event escalated when shots were fired at the intersection in Beachwood. Afterwards, both cars left the area. Police reported no injuries.

  Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.   At this time, the incident is believed to be isolated and there is no danger to the community.
