SOUTH TOMS RIVER – Motorists should take note that several road improvement projects will be going on throughout the Borough over the next few days.
The Ocean County Road Department will be milling and paving county roads throughout South Toms River beginning July 22 at 7 a.m.
The following roads will be worked on: South Main Street from Route 9 to Dover Rd; Center Street, Dover Road (from South Main Street to Flint Rd), and Mill Street. The Center Homes area of South Toms River will also see final paving of roads by the end of August.
“Please expect delays as property access will be limited during this operation,” stated County Road Supervisor Scott Waters. Waters suggests that motorists make alternate parking arrangements as no vehicles will be allowed on the road during this time.
