BERKELEY – A nurse at a local care center was arrested for stealing a resident’s pain medication.
Gary Neglia, 30, of Forked River, was charged with obtaining a prescription legend drug by deception and theft by deception. He was processed by Berkeley Township Police and released pending a future court date.
Neglia, a nurse at Tallwoods Care Center, switched out a resident’s Vicodin for over-the-counter Tylenol, according to police reports.
Berkeley Township Police Detectives investigated after the resident complained; Neglia admitted to the switch, police said.
