BEACHWOOD – Police and firefighters responded to a borough home on Memorial Day for a deck collapse.
According to the Beachwood Volunteer Fire Department, the incident happened at a Walnut Street home shortly before 7 p.m. on Monday, May 25.
The department posted that South Toms River EMS also assisted. They confirmed on Facebook that the second floor deck collapsed and that two people sustained injuries and were treated by first aid.
The fire department personnel assisted in removing the deck and securing all hazards.
