Berkeley Pride Day Is Coming Soon

BERKELEY – Berkeley’s 27th Annual Community Pride Day will be held on Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Veterans Park.

This event features children’s entertainment, such as costumed characters, rides, and face painting. There will also be arts and crafts, exhibits, and games. Classic cars will be on display.

Local businesses and community groups will have opportunities to reach out to the public. There will also be food vendors.

There will also be performances and events throughout the day:

1 p.m. Yosi, children’s performer

2 p.m. Central Regional Marching Band

3 p.m. Sketchy Medicine Band

4:30 p.m. Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony

5:30 p.m. Sounds of the Street, doo wop group

7 p.m. The Infernos band
