BERKELEY – On January 10 and 11, Allen Road and nearby areas will experience water outages due to an infrastructure improvement project by AQUA.
Mayor Carmen Amato announced that large valves need to be installed on Allen Road and as a result, the entire neighborhood will be out of service for a brief time on Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to AQUA, Allen Road as well as Centerboard Drive, Toppinglift Drive, Travelers Way, Jib Court, and Steerage Way will be affected by low pressure and/or periods of water outages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If discolored water is experienced after normal water pressure has returned, run a cold-water faucet until clear.
