LACEY – A Beachwood woman was charged with theft after stealing a customer’s wallet at Walmart.
On May 18, police responded to the Lacey Walmart for a report of theft. A customer reportedly left her wallet on the counter and when she went to grab it, it was no longer there. Store surveillance revealed a second woman had picked up the wallet and walked to the bathroom.
Police later discovered the wallet in the bathroom garbage without the cash that was originally in it.
Tiffany Roggenkamp, 21, was charged with theft and later released at the scene.
