Customers Asked to Plan Ahead for Approaching Tropical Storm Debby
Haworth, NJ – Veolia has prepared for severe storms moving through New Jersey this week as
the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby sweep up the East Coast. New Jersey is bracing for
significant rainfall and the threat of flooding through Saturday.
Veolia is taking all necessary precautions to protect the water supply and the communities the
company serves. The preparations include testing backup power supplies and taking steps to
ensure the integrity of dams, storage tanks and treatment facilities.
Emergency response teams are ready and Veolia continues to work closely with local and county emergency officials.

Customers are asked to be weather-ready by checking their personal emergency preparedness
plans and making sure they have ample emergency supplies such as flashlights, batteries, and
