JACKSON – A 24-year-old Jackson man drowned in the Delaware River while swimming at a national park, officials said.
Jeysson Ariel Osorio-Reyes was missing for four hours before divers found his body off Milford Beach at the Delaware Water Gap.
According to witnesses, he was last seen around 3:15 p.m. Saturday about 75 yards from the Pennsylvania shoreline before disappearing. His body was found around 7 p.m.
National Park Service rangers and dive team members aided in the search along with local firefighters, officials said.
Milford Beach was closed to the public Saturday and Sunday while divers searched for the missing swimmer.
