WALL – Investigators announced that skeletons found at a residential construction site don’t show any evidence that their deaths were suspicious in nature.
The remains were found at the 1100 block of Narrumson Road on March 12, when construction workers were laying a foundation of a new home. Police said that soil at the site was examined and skeletal remains were uncovered and preserved.
The New Jersey State Police Forensic Anthropology Unit determined that the bones belonged to multiple people. The precise age of the people when they died could not be exactly determined, but it is believed that they were “of an advanced age.”
This situation is still being studied and police said that more information will be released as it becomes available.
