TOMS RIVER – A Monmouth County man was killed after crashing his motorcycle on the Garden State Parkway Sunday, police said.
Tyrone Sapp, 46, of Neptune Township, was traveling northbound around 6:50 p.m. when he ran off the road to the left and struck a guardrail near milepost 83.6 in Toms River, New Jersey State Police said.
Sapp was killed after he was thrown from the motorcycle, police said.
Police did not state whether other vehicles were involved in the crash. At this time, the crash remains under investigation, police said.
