BERKELEY – A man was severely injured after falling from a water tower while working on site in Berkeley Township, police said.
Officers found the victim laying outside the maintenance tube around 11 a.m. on January 25. As a result, he suffered compound fractures to his arms and legs, police said.
Berkeley EMS and Paramedics responded and transported the man to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.
According to police, the man was inside the maintenance tube free climbing when he fell.
Berkeley Detectives and The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) are investigating the incident. Representatives from Aqua Water were also on scene to assist.
