STAFFORD – After nearly a two-year wait, the long-awaited Chick-fil-A has finally made moves and started construction in Stafford Township.
Back in 2019, the township Planning Board approved a developer to build a Chick-fil-A restaurant and a Panera Bread restaurant on Route 72.
Although there is no set date as to when the Chick-fil-A will open, construction has begun. The build will include a 5,262-square-foot restaurant with 114 seats and a drive-thru lane. The Panera Bread has not started construction, but the plan calls for a 4,833-square-foot restaurant as well as a drive-thru lane.
The property originally housed a bank and later an office building. The future Chick-fil-a and Panera Bread will be set next to a KFC restaurant.
