Structure Fire In Waretown, No Injuries

WARETOWN – The Ocean County Fire Marshal is now investigating what caused a fire in the Ocean Memorial Plaza on Saturday morning.

According to the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company, they were dispatched to the center where they found the blaze inside a store front of an occupied 2 story mixed occupancy store/apartment complex.

Multiple departments responded to provide aid and the Barnegat Fire Department & Lanoka Fire Department stood by to cover any other possible incidents in the town.

No one was injured and the fire was extinguished quickly.
