MANCHESTER – Needed for immediate opening: Maintenance Worker, DPW Buildings and Grounds – Full-Time.
The position of Maintenance Worker performs a variety of work, manual in nature and in connection with various projects for varying periods of time.
The overall job responsibilities include emptying waste baskets, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming floors, and includes basic custodial services and property maintenance of lawn and grounds. Work is performed in all types of weather conditions.
Due to the nature of this position, overtime and weekend work are a job requirement.
The Maintenance Worker reports to the General Foreman and does not supervise other employees. An excellent benefits package is included.
